This hard to find high end HP 494P Digital Programmable Spectrum Analyzer covers from 100Hz to 21 GHz (325 Ghz. with external mixers) through a dynamic range of -117 dBm - +30 dBm. The sweep speed is variable from 20 microseconds to 5 seconds per div. It features a +/- 1dB frequency response and 10 to the -9th marker and center frequency accuracy. The unit includes a built-in frequency counter. It is fully programmable, with front panel execution of downloaded programs, intelligent markers with signal processing functions and pushbutton occupied bandwidth and noise normalization functions. The front panel "Help" button brings up a text help menu which guides the user through front panel controls and signal processing functions. The unit also includes quick guide flash cards for easy reference of common operations. There are many other modes, features and operations which are too numerous to mention.

This is an extremely high quality unit. It is in good condition and has been tested as fully operational. Though we have had problems in the past with unscrupulous module switching, against which we have taken steps to minimize our risk, we will offer a limited five day warranty, commencing on the delivery date, during which time, at our sole discretion, we will either repair, replace, or issue a full refund of the purchase price, less the shipping cost, if the unit is returned to us postage prepaid, complete, in its original, as shipped, condition, and properly packed. To qualify, the customer must contact us, in writing, during the five day period, make his claim and receive return authorization. This limited warranty is not intended to cover minor cosmetic or alignment issues and is being offered so as to give the customer "piece of mind" when purchasing an expensive and complicated piece of equipment "sight unseen".
